A name is very personal thing. It is a powerful piece of who we are. A name is applied to us, identifies us, it is the sound we respond to. Our name is an invocation of who we are; repeated it becomes a chant -- a seductive siren call from a lover; an angry reproach from a parent. It is personal, it is fundamental: it is not all of who we are and yet we are someone quite different when it changes.

How I use the Internet
There is no denying the fact that it is a hotly debated today how to using Internet.Obviously ,computer is one of the most uesful tools in our modern life and Internet plays an important roles in all aspects .The Internet provides us quite a lot convenience but also brings about many issues.Opinions on this issue differ sharply.Some people insisted on that Internet is essential to our life while others aganisted it.Let' look the real suition of the issue.
On the one hand,the Internet makes our life more easily.To begin with ,the Internet can provide us variety of ways to solve the promblems by using it.What's more,the Internet can do many of works that humans cant't.
Besides,the Internet can help us to communicate others by QQ or Msn insteda of posting letters.
On the other hand ,some people claimed that the Internet is not as good as we expected.Because many people spend their time on loging the Internet and did nothing .They remained that the Internet only lead their life into delimna.
Weighing the arguements on both sides,I inclined to the previous view.With the rapid development of the society ,the Internet is more and important in our life .The Internet has became one part in our life.We can use it do amost everthing if we wanted.As long as we use it properly,that is, the Internet can be a good assistant in our life

The best roommate I've ever
The best roommate I’ve had is our monitor in our high school class. He is a sunny boy. He not only studies very well but also gets along with everyone. So mostly all the class like to be with him. In the class, he is a good student and in dormitory he must be the best roommate. At least I think so. because he have given me a hand when I was in a difficult situation.
It’s a usual day, I went back to the room with my tired body. One of my roommate was stole and they thought that I was the thief. I was so afraid that I didn’t know how to argue for myself. At the moment he stand out to argue for me and called the police to survey it. During the time he asked other people to trust me and treated me as normal. at last I was proved to be good person. It’s he who let me go out of the bad situation. from then on we became good friends. And help each other whenever we need.
I treasure our friendship up to now. though we fall apart by having chosen different colleges, we still keep in touch with each other. I can’t forget the time I was distrusted and received his help. He is my best roommate forever.
Unit 6
A life of honesty
Honesty is one of Chinese traditional manners. We make promises almost every day. But some of us can not keep their promises. I think we middle school students should not do things like that.
First , if we are honest and keep our words, others will believe us, and we will have more friends. Second, being an honest person can make ourselves happy. We will not be nervous because of our dishonesty. Third, if everybody can be honest and keep his promises, our society will become much more beautiful.
In a word, as middle school students, we should be honest and keep our words. Because honesty makes our life more beautiful.

Traits I've inherited from my family
.Apparently,I think I have inherited my mom’s looks, which I do consider a good thing because my mother has a good looking。Meanwhile，fortunately I have my dad’s energy, I seldom feel tired; And I am energetic to my study. I don’t sit still for very long. And what is funny， my mom defend that my energy is definitely from her.

Old people in the workforce
好的:
Old people have more experience. They worked for a relatively longer time and they have seen more. When there comes the question or problem, old people can show better patience than those young.

坏的：
However, old people are usually not as creative as those new workers. They are more conservative and don't like new ideas. They have their own ways work and have been sticked to them for a long time, thus when a company wants to reform, those old workforce is often where the propagation comes from.
The experience of elders is very rich. They can teach us their experiences and educate better workers . In addition,they can tell the young people the manner of how to be a kind person and the right attitude towards life.
