Jane Eyre is an immortal work in English history of literature .The heroine in this book Jane Eyre whose parents left her when she was a infant ,is an orphaned girl .She was a adopted by her uncle and aunt during infancy .Before long ,her uncle past away ,Jane Eyre was subjected to endless bullying and humiliation and mistreatment by her aunt and cousins .She was young ,thin and weak ,isolated and cut off from help ,but she was unwilling to tolerate mortification and made her spare no efforts to struggle with them .
At the age of ten ,Jane Eyre was sent into a charitable school which is actually named orphaned place .She spent eight years suffering the miserable conditions there .She dared to be faced with loneliness ,huger ,disease and strenuous manual labor .But meanwhile ,she worked hard to learn all kinds of knowledge and made unremitting efforts to develop her inner quality and accomplishment in morality .After finishing the six years’ studying courses ,Jane Eyre became a qualified teacher in the end .
Jane Eyre advertised to find a better job at the age of eighteen .She left for Thorn filed Hall to teach an eight-year-girl and became a governess .In the high society at that time, She who was of no importance was just an ordinary employer, but before long, she got the trust and respect from the housekeeper and the host of Hall because of her conscientious spirit to work, the honesty to treat people and the mature steady to behave.
While Jane Eyre knew better about Mr. Edward Rochester -the host of Thorn filed hall ,she couldn’t help producing mercy and love to him .At one family banquet ,Jane Eyre met her rival in love –a rich woman with arrogant and imperious nature and haughty .Obviously ,she knew that she had no advantages in outlook or family background ,but she believed that true love was superior to vanity and hypocritical of the noble capitalist class so that her courage increased as much as possible .Jane Eyre realized only herself could be qualified to fall in love with the noble character host .When she fell in with Mr. Edward Rochester and prepared to marry him ,she got the news that his wife was alive by chance .Although it’s so difficult for her to give up the value love ,she disdained to be regarded as a coquette because of her self-worth. .She left her lover without hesitation and started her journey alone which was dangerous and slimy.
After acting as a beggar-woman several days for moment, she finally arrived at a farmyard and got the help from the host .She settled down ,but she was unwilling to accept what need not pay for .Jane Eyre worked on teaching in one countryside school to make her lives depending on herself after coming to herself .One years later , she got a large sum by accident that her uncle left her ,and meanwhile ,she got that the three hosts were the children of her aunt .She didn’t forget their grace .Family took much more important role than property in her heart ,so she spared the sum belonging to her to her cousins . Her adopted brother –St. John Kiers was a priest, and he asked Jane to get married with him, for he thought it was convenient for Jane to act as his helper before he decided to left for India to preach .But Jane scorn the marriage without love and refused John as soon as possible.
As two years went by, Jane cared for the person she loved at any times, but she could not get any news about him .She made her mind to go to Thorn filed Hall by herself to see what happened on earth .What was unbelievable, Jane heard that house were burnt to ruin, and the host of house were injured because of saving his wife, while his wife gave a spring and died. On knowing that, Jane came to the lover who had seared vision and crippled strength. Without hesitation, they got married in the equal conditions and lived a happy life.
On fishing reading it, I was deeply impressed by the heroine –Jane Eyre. People always sigh“Life is always full of trouble。It is difficult to human beings, but it’s more hard to be women than it.” Suppose that a woman were not pretty and powerful, but also she had no property, even had no family members. You can imagine how tragic her fate is, while Jane was such a women like this. To our surprise, it was the ordinary young women that defeated quite a piety versatile and a powerful miss Ingram without enough efforts and conquered Mr. Edward Rochester owning a large sum who traveled almost half the earth and spent as long as 20 years looking for his lover in England , French, Ger, and Italy. It was a nondescript woman that made a handsome, ideal and adamancy man – John asked to marry him, again and again. It was the person who once depended on somebody for living, tolerated weather—beaten, and even was reduced to poverty that attained a large sum and truth love –ardency, sincere and sweet love, and lived a happy, meaningful and easeful life in the end.
Now let’s figure out the reason why she had so much charm together.
Jane was very nice .Minces a famous saying :“People are different from the animals and the few, that’s to say , the most difference between people and animals is that people are filled with love and compassion, so she was.
Jane Eyre was adopted by her aunt –Mrs. Reed, but she tolerated the cruel abuse .She had vowed that she would never call her aunt again. But when she saw Mrs. Reed laying in the bed, and the breath badly, in critical condition the longings of verge were quelled and the promptings of rage and aversion were hushed, no other emotion than a sort of truth for her great sufferings. Jane Eyre came up to her and bent down to kiss her, calling “aunt, my dear aunt.
The kind-hearted people are often willing to make the sacrifice of themselves in order to come true the happiness of others .Jane also was such .How warm blossom and noble soul!
Pursue justice .When Jane was a just a girl of ten ,facing with beaten of John Reed who was much stronger and older than her ,she was not afraid of violence and tried her best to resist .Jane hit him strongly so that Mrs. Reed was very angry with her .She locked Jane in a red-room so that Jane was made afraid collapsed in the past .Later , Mrs. Reed spoke badly of Jane to Mr. Brocklehurst-the manager of Logwood school .As a result ,she became a bad child ,a liar before entering into school .Jane added outrage at a fake furiously .She immediately came up to Mrs. Reed ,shouting :I am not deceitful : if I were ,I should say I loved you :but I declare I do not love you : I dislike you the worst of anybody in the world except John Reed ;” “ I am glad you are no relation of mine : I will never come to see you when I am grown up .” “People think you are a good woman, but you are a bad, hard-hearted .You are deceitful!” The litter Jane’s hitting the nail on the head actually made arrogant vicious Mrs. Reed look panic and shock from head to foot, as a result, she ran away with indignity in the end.
In any condition, Jane pursued justice right from wrong with compromise .This is Jane’s spirit and character.
Self-respect .Although self-respect and justice are very good qualities of Jane ,as a woman ,the most attractive is that she did with the relation among people .Especially her self-esteem of dead weight attitude and behavior when she did with the man .She treated people equally and wanted other people to treat her as she did .
It’s the first time that Jane had really did with men after she went to Thorn filed hall and became a governess .When Mr. Rochester first met her in the drawing-room, his facial expression arrogance and rude behavior didn’t make her afraid .Instead of it, Jane did with it politely and soon mastered the talk of the initiative so that Mr. Rochester sat up and took notice for her. Mr. Rochester had a bumpy experience ,and bad temper .Sometimes he behaved rudely .He asked Jane to agree that he has right to own a litter overbearing ,and brusque or strict to her in some time .The reason was that he could be Jane’s father according to age ,and he once traveled half of the world with rich experience of life ,but Jane refused him without hesitation .Jane put it simply that unless he forgot he was a master ,while others were employers , he must cared about others with all his heart ,or others wouldn’t understand him .No matter who she faced with ,she always remembered that she was the same with other people as equal as the power .
Strive constantly for self-improvement .The happiness of life was existed in hard working without stopping .Only hard work ,life could be constantly updated .Once you stopped struggling ,the life would be in a mass of stagnant water .Several years later ,she was not satisfied with her smooth life .Jane was eager to infinite the wide world which was full of hope but trouble ,stimulation but excitement to adventure and pursue .She said that :“It’s in vain to say human beings ought to be satisfied with tranquility ,they must have action ,and they will make it if they cannot find it .’’ After she became a governess of Thorn filed, she was unsatisfied yet. She also put that :“Then I longed for a power of vision which might overpass that limit ; Which might reach the busy world, towns, regions full of life I had heard of but never seen.’’ Even if she strayed to inmates of Moor House that the most difficult days, she also continued to struggle. First, she learned German from Mary and Diana, then learned Hindostanee form john. According to her constant study, her heart became rich and had a sharp mind. She became knowledge and opinions are original.
What impressed me best is that she was honest, bold and persistence to love. When she came back to Thorn field, Mr. Rochester allowed her to rest, but she said: Thank you, Mr. Rochester, for your great kindness. I am strangely glad to get back to you， and whenever you are is my home – my only home .’I could not help remembering these words in Naked Marriage Age：Though I have nothing, money, a car and even a house, what I can do is staying with you ever and forever, and never change。
As time went by, she didn’t forget her lover. A few degrees and a few degrees vicissitudes of life。The lovers – Jane Eyre and Rochester met each other finally, but, at that time, Rochester had been blind and had a seared vision and crippled strength. But Jane became a rich madam. Mr. Rochester decided to give up his lover with pain to ask Jane to leave him to look for a better man. But Jane made her mind to marry him right now in order to company him, take good care of him and become his hands and eyes.
From above, I learn that if you work hard, you can get what you want.
