I. Review: Show the students the ways of asking time and relevant responses. And make the students do the first activity “two-two English”.
(一.复习：带学生回顾询问时间的表达以及相应的回答。组织学生以此为话题进行两人口语对话练习。)
II. Lead-in: Show the students a poem on time. Explain the poem to the students and ask them read after the teacher.
(二. 导入：通过课件带学生欣赏一首有关时间的英语诗，简单讲解这首诗并让学生跟读。)

Task 1: Show the students some relevant pictures and predict the main idea of the reading. (出示与课文相关的图片，引导学生预测课文故事的情节发展。)

通过以同桌为单位的对话练习加强对所学知识的掌握。

用英语诗导入，开阔学生的英语文化视野。

通过讨论图片来预测文章内容，吸引学生注意。

让学生带着问题有针对性的阅读课文，在回答课文的过程中进行重点词组讲解。

通过访谈将话题引入学生身边，同时预测下文故事发展。

分角色朗读加深学生对课文的理解。

&nbsp; One day my father said to me , “Your grandpa is coming by plane to see us tomorrow, will you please get to the airport at nine thirty in the morning to meet your grandpa on time?” I was very glad to hear this because I was looking forward to seeing my grandpa. “OK. No problem. ” I answered. “I will get to the airport before 9:30. Don’t worry.”
&nbsp;The next morning, I got up very early. I had enough time to do something before leaving for the airport. So I played a computer game on line with my e-pal. When we were playing in great joy, I suddenly remembered my grandpa. My God! It was already 10 o’clock. How terrible it was！I hurried to the airport, but I was w hours late. Where to find my grandpa?</p>
