A School Sports Meet
Last week, our school held a school sports meet. Everyone in our class felt very excited. Many students took part in the sports meet.
My best friend Li Yang took part in the boys’ high jump and he won first place. James is good at running and he was in boys’100-meter race. He did badly in it. But we’re sure he’ll do better next time.
I’m not good at any sports, so I didn’t take part in any events. I watched on the playground and cheered on the players.
My Favorite Sport
As we all know, it’s very important for us to do some exercise every day. Doing more exercise can help us to relax and it can make us active. It’s a good way to keep healthy.
There are many kinds of sports around us. My favorite sport is badminton. I always play badminton with my father on weekend. I began to learn it when I was eleven. Now I can’t play it well, but I practice it every day. Practice makes perfect. I believe I will do best one day.
My favorite player is Lin Dan. I think he is handsome and active. I am going to be a player like him when I grow up. It’s my dream.
How to keep healthy
As we all know, it is important for everyone to keep healthy. Good health is good for your work and study. But what should we do to keep healthy? I will share my thoughts with you.
First, we need to have healthy eating habits. Eat more vegetables and fruits. Don’t go to school without breakfast.
Second, we should have good living habits. Go to bed early. Don’t spend too much time playing on the smart phones and the Internet. They are bad for our eyes.
Third, playing sports can help us keep fit. It can make us strong and happy.
At last, try our best to read books. It’s a good way to relax ourselves and we can learn a lot from reading.
As a saying goes,"nothing is more important than health.” We should do our best to keep healthy.
In short, we should do everything we can to keep healthy.
