学习目标 1. 阅读旅行社里发生的故事,了解常见体势语的基本含义以及其在交际中的重要作用。
2. 运用阅读策略,了解课文的大致内容。在阅读对话类文章时能辨别不同的说话者和他们说的话。
3. 掌握本课的新单词的读音,初步掌握一些常用的词组,如: go to sb. for help; hold…up; What’s the matter?; minutes later/ a few moments later; make a good impression on sb.等的用法。

一、 了解什么是身体语言。Find out what body language is. Is it important?
二、 What kind of body language have you know /used? Can you act them out?
三、 小组尝试去拼读本课出现的新单词,不能解决的做好标志,上课提出来。

一、前置作业学习情况交流
1. 让不同的同学发表意见关于What body language is? 教师最后归纳:Body language is includes posture, gesture, facial expression, eye movement and so on.(带读单词gesture, expression)
2. 游戏表演。 几位同学表演他们准备好的身体语言,让其他同学猜所做的动作是什么意思。
3. 点拨预习单词存在的问题。

知识点拨:
● take place 意为发生。动词短语,指事物本身发生,没有被动的形式。
● sit up 意为坐起来,坐直。动词短语,straight可以修饰sit up 表示坐得很直。
● hold …up意为抬起,举起。动词短语,常用:hold sth up.
● go to sb. for help 意为找某人帮忙,求助于某人。动词短语。不能写成find sb. for help.
● Make a good impression on sb. 意为给某人留下好印象。动词短语,该短语也可以这样表达give sb. a good impression.
